Asheron's Call 2 Video and new CMI8738 drivers

Some new drivers came out for CMedia 8738 based sound cards. These drivers are based off the WHQL drivers that were available off the Windows Update web site. Of course my version has the improved mixer icon. :)

I know some have seen this, but most haven't - and then again most people have no interest in Asheron's Call or know what it is.

But anyway, here is a short video of the upcoming Asheron's Call sequel.

"hacked" CMI8738 drivers

Since CMedia's FTP site doesnt seem to be working right now, I decided to upload my own custom 627 WDM drivers.

You can grab them here: driver section

Changes include:
* Changed the tray icon for MIXER.EXE.
* Changed the spelling of some items in CMAUDIO.INF.

Other than those changes, they are identicle to the 627 WDM drivers that use to be availble from CMedia. Their FTP site has been down for a few days, and I don't know when it will be back up.
