I have made a patch program that updates XoloX 1.12 to 1.15. It’s a lot smaller than downloading a new EXE that I posted yesterday.

You can grab it HERE (99k).

You just need to have XoloX 1.12 installed. Run the patch program, and it will update XoloX to 1.15.

First, download XoloX 1.12:

Install, then run once to have it configure itself.

And then get the 1.15 Fix/Update:

I don’t want to get in trouble for this – altering the program as much as I did, but the company has discontinued it, and are blocking people who use the original 1.12 version…

What makes this the best Gnutella client? For me its the segmented downloads… That really speeds things up. There is little to configure, but that doesn’t seem to mess things up, as I get better results on searches than I do with BearShare or LimeWire.

Also – make sure to set a high upload speed in the program, as I’ve heard that has a direct impact on how fast you can download as well.
