Hi, I've been looking for an answer to this question for a while. It is not about a topic specifically adressed in this forum, but since it is loosely related to file sharing I thought I'd submit it here.

-Using ZoneAlarm, is it necessary to have it load at startup in order to benefit from maximum security, or can one just load it manually before connecting to internet ?
I have read statements where it was implied that the service would be activated only by loading at startup, but it didn't really explain...
Thanx for any help (or if you know of a forum about ZA, I'd appreciate a link)

if i were going to use it and expect any real success from its use, i would just make sure it was loaded before I was connected to the net.

i think it loads some parts of it with Windows, but you dont need to run the actual program until you are ready to connect to the net.

My stupid question is.

What exactly makes up a PBP file?  And how can I edit it WITHOUT fucking something up, IE: Getting errors, screwing up the filesystem somehow.  Etc.
