Latest firmware I know of: S7S9
I read that S7S9 came out in February 2003.
Your drive may have a firmware such as S7D3 or S7D5. The drive I was trying to flash had firmware S7D5.
When I attempted to update to S7S9, the firmware flasher program complained that it only works when the drive already has firmware S7S0-S7SZ.
I ended up flashing from S7D5 to S7S5 first, and then from S7S5 to S7S9.
I posted this Zip file with both firmwares just in case someone else needs them.
